Two months ago People and Gardens were fortunate enough to receive some funding from The Big Lottery for our “New Growing Project”. The grant of £9,730 will go towards paying for an experienced horticultural worker to work with us for one year, assisting in our new growing programme. We’ve just heard that we have been nominated in three categories in the Cornwall VSF Awards 2013. They are: Best Partnership/Collaboration Best Community Based Activity Most Innovative Use Of Volunteers The Award ceremony is being held at the Eden Project on 28th November 2013.
