During the lockdown The Lost Gardens of Heligan stepped up to the front to help us with growing vegetables for our fortnightly Veg bags. We have just set up a purpose built tomato growing area, with the capability to grow approximately 350 plants at a time. This has been partly funded by The Cornish Ketchup Company, through a £500 donation. Our seeds trays and pots have been cleaned and refilled with fresh compost and now we’re busy sowing seeds. So far we’ve planted carrots, chillies, radishes, mizuna, baby leaf lettuce, endives and spring onions. All of which will be grown into beautiful plants for you to enjoy in your veg bags! … Read more »
